Chapter breakdown
Isaias 11 announces Jesse-root rod and flower, Lord's spirit with wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, godliness and fear. He judges not by eyesight nor reproves by hearing, judges poor justly/meek equitably, strikes earth with mouth-rod and kills wicked by lip-breath, justice loins-girdle and faith reins-girdle. These are prophetic claims, not an independent universal governance doctrine.
Wolf/lamb, leopard/kid, calf/lion/sheep coexist led by child; calf/bear feed, young rest, lion eats straw like ox. Nursing child plays on asp-hole, weaned hand enters basilisk den. No harm/killing on holy mountain with divine knowledge seawaterlike filling earth. Physical venom risks are not contemporary safety advice.
Jesse root people's ensign, Gentiles beseech and sepulchre glorious. Second divine hand possesses survivors from Assyria, Egypt, Phetros, Ethiopia, Elam, Sennaar, Emath and sea islands; standard gathers Israel fugitives and Juda dispersed fourquarters. Ephraim envy ends, Juda enemies perish, tribes cease mutual envy/war. They fly at Philistine sea-shoulders, together spoil east's children, rule Edom/Moab and receive Ammon obedience. Lord wastes Egyptian sea-tongue, hand over river by spirit-strength, strikes sevenstreams allowing shoes-crossing. Highway for Assyrian remnant resembles Israel's Egypt exit. Broad cosmic reconciliation and unlabeled dryshod river-parting claims do not replace these particulars.
