What does Psalms Chapter 112 say, and which statements belong to its speaker?

Atlas of Saints · Chapter summary

Children are called to bless the name now and forever. God’s height accompanies a question about regard for low things. Raising poor and joyful motherhood remain the psalm’s declarations.

Chapter breakdown

Laudate, pueri is the incipit and the heading names regard for poor and humble. Alleluia leads the command to children to praise the Lord and name. Servants is not substituted for children. The name is blessed from now forever and worthy of praise from sun's rising to setting.

God is high above nations and glory above heavens. The question asks who compares to Him dwelling high and looking upon low things in heaven and earth. He raises needy from earth and poor from dunghill that He may place him with His people's princes. Earth is not silently changed to dust and placement with princes does not specify peerage or a government office.

He makes a barren woman dwell in a house as joyful mother of children. The statement stays attributed to this praise psalm; an individual grief scene, social reproach or a guaranteed biological cure for every childless person is not added.
